Mark Dintenfass, American writer, English educator. Recipient Distinguished Achievement award Wisconsin Library. Association, 1987; named Notable Wisconsin Writer, Wisconsin Library.
Mark Dintenfass was born in Brooklyn and graduated from Columbia University, from which he also received an M.A. in Drama. With his wife, Phyllis, he joined the Peace Corps and was assigned to Ethiopia, where he taught English at Haile Selassie University in Addis Ababa.
