Nagel received an A.B. degree from Boston College in 1972 and a J.D. degree from Columbia University School of Law in 1975. Career. Nagle began her career in 1975 as an associate with the firm Goodwin, Procter and Hoar, LLP. She joined Stroock and Lavan, LLP in 1978 and became a partner at this firm in 1984.
