4 and 3 are great, exceptional stories but not on 2's level. 1 and rising are stereotypical Metal Gear games featuring standard Metal Gear stories and characters. Nothing out of the ordinary. TPP had story, length and things to do while Ground Zeroes had the best map, by far.
