Jun 2, 2021 · Infinite Wisdom only works super well when the destroyer is perfectly flat, while nimbus, clinger and whirlwind work better vertically. Still performs better than almost anything, and better than just Infinite wisdom when the destroyer isn't perfectly flat.
Imperial I vs Imperial II Star Destroyer. [LEGENDS] I recently saw a post comparing the VSD 1 and VSD 2 so I figured I would post this to compare the other ships with to main models. The ISD 1 was a better all-around ship.
That's the real trick; the Star Destroyer has to take down the Vengeance's shields and then break through its armored hull using conventional broadside methods. The Vengeance just needs even a single gap in the SD shields to win.
The Enterprise wins. Anything Kirk and beyond could handle it (NX class might lose). Star destroyers use lasers and ray shields. Enterprise has photon (later, quantum) torpedos, phasers which can change frequency to match shields, all sorts of sensors, and most of all, the crew.
