I recently watched a video comparing gameplay between PS3 and PS4. Other than a clear superiority in rendering on the PS4 I don't notice a very big difference in gameplay features. I don't care much about graphics.
The fact that MGS The Phantom Pain is fully playable on the PS3 is a technical marvel. IMO. Sure, the textures are often quite a bit worse and less detailed, same for framerate during certain scenes. But honestly, the game is practically the same on last gen which is a really impressive feat!
