Lincolnshire Wolds Way A long distance walk of 78 miles in the east of England which makes a circuit of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds. It celebrates the culture of the area and visits many attractive small towns, villages and hamlets. Maps, statistics and gpx route file for the walk are included.
The Lincolnshire Wolds can be divided into four distinct areas: [2] the main area of chalk hills in the north, the north west scarp, an area of ridges and valleys in the south west, the claylands in the south east.
This circular walk is mainly within the Licolnshire Wolds National Landscape and has been designed to take in the best of the Wolds and keeps to the high ground whenever possible. It has been broken down into 5 stages, averaging 6 hours walking per day.
