The electrician appointed by the Magnet fitter did an unsatisfactory job and I had to get another electrician to make the wiring safe so that a certificate could be issued. Magnet are refusing to pay the extra costs because I originally paid the electrician direct.

Job role was good at the start but then Magnet made the Design Sales Assistants redundant so more pressure on the Kitchen Designers to do more in their job role. Expected to do 90min appointments and each appointment customer needed to get a quote at the end and place a deposit.

Oct 22, 2015 · I was sent an incompetent fitter who bodged everything, was left without a kitchen sink and cooking facilities for months. Customer service were hopeless although I did eventually get one professional person who was interested in doing her job. Avoid this company. Date of experience: 23 October 2023.
Wrong drawers, insufficient cornice, wrong design on work top, no corner piece, the 2 cookers were different colours, one graphite, one stainless silver. Trying to speak to someone at branch was tricky. Trying to speak to someone who cared was largely impossible. They did re order one of the ovens.
