Mar 1, 2019 · The resulting company Parc Films ran from 1963 to 1972. When Lazareff died at the age of 65-years-old in 1972, Bodard dissolved the company and went on to produce under the banner of Ciné Mag Bodard.

Mar 5, 2019 · MAG BODARD (1916–2019) Mag Bodard. French film producer Mag Bodard, who worked with directors Jacques Demy, Robert Bresson, Jean-Luc Godard, Agnes Varda, and Alain Resnais, among others, died on February 26. She was 103 years old. Bodard began her career in journalism, working as a reporter for Elle in Southeast Asia in the 1950s.
During the couples' stay in Vietnam, from 1948–55, Mag Bodard wrote articles about everyday life in Saigon for France-Soir as well as for Elle. Around the time of the siege at Dien Bien Phu, the turning point for the French in Vietnam, the articles were collected and published under the title C'est Aussi Comme Ca ( It's Also Like That ) to great success.
She withdrew from the cinema industry in the mid-1970s and returned to her first love, television. Her company Ciné Mag Bodard has since produced over 100 TV works. We wish Mag Bodard a very happy 100th birthday on 3. January 2016 and are showing nine films that she produced to celebrate. Seven of them have English subtitles.
