On my first watch of Mad Men, I said to myself that I really disliked S7. But having watched it through a few times, I’ve changed my tune, and The Strategy is one of the reasons why. It’s such a beautiful episode, Peggy’s Burger Chef pitch and her and Don dancing makes me cry every time. I love their moments of unguarded interaction.
Just wanted a place to share my love for this episode. The true love shared between Don and Peggy (closest they've been since The Suitcase), Peggy doing it her way with a brilliant idea, and after all they've been through, the perfect definition of family in this final, iconic shot.
