Mad Genius is a 2017 American science fiction film written and directed by Royce Gorsuch and starring Chris Mason, Scott Mechlowicz, Spencer Locke and Faran Tahir. It is Gorsuch's feature directorial debut.
"Mad Genius" presents a sci-fi society in which the human mind can be broken into and programmed per the agenda of the hacker. Real life husband and wife Chris Mason and Spencer Locke are Mason and Sawyer, a tortured genius and his mysterious muse, whose redemptive message seems to be a Beatlesque "All You Need Is Love".
