Feb 12, 2024 · Ramos was invited to speak at UCSF by Josie Urbina, MD, an assistant professor in the UCSF Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, who — similar to Ramos — is the “proud daughter” of Mexican immigrants and was raised in Los Angeles.
Dr. Ramos also serves as Regional Medical Director for HealthCare Partners. Dr. Ramos earned his medical degree from the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Ramos is a firm believer in preventive care and believes that health education is critical to this effort.
