  4. 2/10. I really don’t get all the accolades this film is receiving. It’s a feminist commentary on victimhood, but it feels like the writer set up a premise and then gave up on the third act. And that social commentary did get too heavy-handed toward the end.

  5. I'm on a thriller kick recently. Got burned out on slashers and supernatural stuff from watching way too many. I know this is a shudder sub, but I saw a really good thriller on Netflix called "The gift" starting Jason Bateman. Highly reccomend. Not scary so much as fucked up and cringey but in all the right ways.
