Smartcore is great product. Smartcore Pro is the better part of the line with a thicker board and thicker under-padding. I purchased Smartcore Ultra, which is the Pro specs in a longer and wider plank, for my own home. If you ask me, and you did, I wouldn't do less than the 20mil wear layer - especially if you have pets.
