All in all Love Holidays advertising didn’t represent anything like the hotel which we paid £1200 each for. After complaining several times to Love Holidays and ABTA I was told there is no protection or compensation because Love Holidays used a Spanish company Jumbo Tours to book our holiday through thereby invalidating our ABTA guarantee.

The name change based on their T&C's should be possible (Art 8). The issue are the rules of the service provider (Art 28). And most airlines will not accept a name change.
Feb 14, 2022 · I've found a holiday I want to book through loveholidays. The airline there and back is Ryanair. We're booking 2 x 20kg baggage extra which I understand will go in the hold which is slightly cheaper then booking priority boarding for the same amount of luggage. Are there any other advantages to booking priority boarding as its only slightly more.

Love Holidays package up holidays using multi contracts and often it seems those elements are non-refundable and therefore not something you can change, especially close to departure. To get to a value price proposition the flights and the hotel will often have such restrictions.

Had a bad experience with accommodation booked through them in Kos a few years back but that actually wasn’t their fault!
