When an experimental expedition to a Jovian moon fails, the lone survivoris forced to embark on a risky but mind-expanding odyssey.
On their way across the surface of Jupiter's moon Io, astronauts Martha Kivelson and Juliet Burtonare caught in a sulfur eruption that wrecks their vehicle. When the dust settles, Kivelson discovers that Burton is dead with a massive injury to her right eye. She packs solid sulfur into Burton's helmet to preserve her body and uses her oxygen supply...
