    We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Louth Museum! Now with FREE family friendly activities! We are a small, independent museum in the Lincolnshire town of Louth. Just off the A16, the museum is at the bottom of Broadbank, near the large Co-Op store. Postcode LN11 0EQ. The museum is open from April to October, Wednesday to Saturday, 10 – 4pm.

    There are lots of fascinating things in the museum for the more serious historian but also for those who are just looking for an interesting place to visit. With our brand-new mascot, Sam the snail, our museum is now more family friendly than ever! We have a wide range of activities, suitable for everyone from babies to teenagers. These include but...

    Our museum has accessible toilets, designed for both young and disabled visitors. These are located on the ground floor. There is a chair lift to the exhibition gallery on the first floor, and lift access to the flood display on the mezzanine. If you require assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask one of the team.     We have a parking space for disabled visitors, and other parking areas can be found nearby. The closest are Broadbank Car Park (just across the road) and the Co-Op and Kiln Lane Car Parks. As Louth is an old town, the roads and pavements are narrow and uneven so take care when walking.
