Well laid out and fascinating local history - and a warm welcome! May 2024 • Family. Visiting Louth on a trip to scatter my father's ashes and decided to visit the museum as part of trip. A warm Lincs welcome by the staff and we learnt even more about Louth's history and the surrounding area.
Feb 22, 2024 · Whether you a history nerd or you’re just interested to learn about the town, Louth Museum is a really fun place to do it. The building is over a century old and was purpose-built by the Louth Naturalists’ Antiquarian and Literary Society, which still runs the museum today.
We are a small, independent museum in the Lincolnshire town of Louth. Just off the A16, the museum is at the bottom of Broadbank, near the large Co-Op store. Postcode LN11 0EQ. The museum is open from April to October, Wednesday to Saturday, 10 – 4pm.
