The get together was organised by a relative whose ancestor had emigrated to Canada in the early 1900's and from where she and her husband had travelled.

    We have a parking space for disabled visitors, and other parking areas can be found nearby. The closest are Broadbank Car Park (just across the road) and the Co-Op and Kiln Lane Car Parks. As Louth is an old town, the roads and pavements are narrow and uneven so take care when walking.

    I visited Louth Museum to find out more about it's history. It is a small museum that is packed full of amazing items and has "something for everyone", including young visitors. The staff are so welcoming too. I particularly enjoyed the wooden carved angels displayed upstairs and also the panoramic view of the town painted in the late 1800's .
