1826. Blanqui begins to study both law and medicine at the Sorbonne. 1827. Blanqui is seriously wounded during clashes with government troops in April and May, and then almost killed on 29 November by a bullet wound to the neck during further protests around the rue Saint-Denis, in Paris.
