Aug 20, 2008 · Iha and his co-producer, Adam Schlesinger of Fountains Of Wayne, worked with the band famous for "A Horse With No Name" without trying to update America's sound. They simply used their talents to enhance what Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell always did best.

In 2002, James joined the acclaimed progressive rock band A Perfect Circle (featuring members of Tool and Marilyn Manson). He continues to tour with the band, most recently headlining amphitheaters and arenas in the US in 2016. James released his first solo album, LET IT COME DOWN, in 1998.
