Leah McNamara is an Irish actress. She starred in the film Metal Heart (2018) [ 1 ] and the Sky Max thriller Then You Run (2023). [ 2 ] She also appeared in the History series Vikings (2017–2019), the BBC One – RTÉ crime drama Dublin Murders (2019), [ 3 ] [ 4 ] [ 5 ] and the BBC Three – Hulu miniseries Normal People (2020).
The series follows a close-knit group of rebellious teenagers who flee London for Rotterdam. But, after a traumatic complication, they find themselves on the run across Europe with deadly criminals snapping at their heels. The girl at the centre of it all is Tara, played by Leah McNamara, whose criminal family history haunts the teens.
