Jul 21, 2015 · Justice League: Gods and Monsters perfectly plays into the Elseworld aesthetic to create an engaging alternate take on a familiar universe, all of which comes from the same masterminds behind the iconic DCAU. The story is somewhat weak due to being a pilot for a franchise that would never be, but the creativity of its writing still makes for a great one-off adventure, regardless.
