Dec 6, 2017 · I am using Word 2016, and active Office 365 user and running Windows 7. Spelling errors in word show up as red wavy line, grammar as blue wavy line and the clear/concise errors don't show up at all. What needs to be changed to the errors flag correctly?
Oct 23, 2017 · HOW: File > Options > Proofing > under "When correcting spelling and grammar in Word" > uncheck "Mark grammar errors as you type" and "Check spelling as you type". This will completely solve your problem with every phrase even after reopening the file.

The Format Consistency Checker allows you to check for and correct most common formatting problems. While you type, the Format Consistency Checker can make automatic changes to the document format with the AutoFormat command. It can check and mark possible format inconsistencies in the background as you type.
In Microsoft Office Word 2003 or in Microsoft Word 2002 you can also run the Format Consistency Checker by clicking Spelling and Grammar on the Tools menu.
In Microsoft Office Word 2007, you can run the Format Consistency Checker by clicking Spelling & Grammar in the
Proofing group on the Review tab.
Dec 16, 2016 · All you have to do is uncheck "check grammar" in Word. Right click on the word with the blue lines underneath, and click grammar. Uncheck "check grammar" but leave "check grammar with spelling" if you want, which is what I did. All blue lines under words will be removed.
