Plot. On Christmas Eve 1985, Anthony "Tony" Towers, a successful nightclub manager, is engaged to his girlfriend Sue Taylor while travelling from London to Nottingham for a family reunion with his brother Roger. But when Tony walks into the next carriage forwards, he's transported to 1995 and discovers that he lost everything.

Christmas 2023. This feels like a film where the idea was better than the execution. There are moments that really work, others that don't work so well. Still, a little bit of inventiveness goes a long way when it comes to Christmas movies. And Michael Sheen is clearly having a good time playing all the different versions of the character.
