   Mar 27, 2020 · I just got the glarry ib with pj in natural. It's really a nice looking decent playing and sounding bass. I see them for about $130 with resellers with good reviews. I see what looks like the same bass without label for 80 online.

   Jan 31, 2024 · It boils down to this: Glarry makes ultra low budget instruments (not just guitars) for beginners or decoration. They have their flaws, but that doesn’t mean they are necessarily bad. I would just say they are not ideal guitars for beginners and I don’t believe they are generally worth the money.

   How much does a Glarry GP bass cost?

   • The original Glarry GP Bass cost only $75, which was a great price for a working bass, but scored a measly 4.3 out of 10 on our ratings scale.    Is a Glarry Guitar worth it?

   • If a Glarry guitar speaks to you it’s still worth it, even if you have to pay $50-100 for a guitar tech to set it up for you. That said, if you’re looking for a ultra-low budget Telecaster style guitar I prefer the Indio Retro Classic. Despite everything I’ve told you so far, you might want to still buy a Glarry for one of the following reasons:

   Is GP a good bass?

   • Glarry did a great job correcting the laundry list of issues I had with the original GP Bass. However, the price nearly doubled, meaning that this bass is now firmly in used Squier Affinity Series territory. I do think this is a more solid instrument than some Affinity Basses, but not all.

   • You like one of the odd shaped Glarry guitars. Yup, another good reason! If you like the way it looks you’ll be more likely to play it. You don’t play guitar but you want playable guitar wall art. Guitars make great decorations, just ask the Hard Rock Cafe!
