One night, little Mimi witnesses her mother’s suicide attempt. The next day, while her mother slowly recovers in hospital, Mimi’s aunt, Solange, takes her to their council flat in the Parisian suburbs. So, as not disrupt the apartment’s order, Solange puts the girl in a corner next to the door.
