Goethe-Kino (Online - Only Available in the UK) On 12th October 2023, the poet and novelist Lutz Seiler, winner of this year's Georg Büchner Prize, will be a guest at the Goethe-Institut. Leading up to this occasion, we are presenting the adaptation of his debut novel Kruso (2014), for which he received the German Book Prize.
Kruso: Directed by Thomas Stuber. With Albrecht Schuch, Jonathan Berlin, Andreas Leupold, Peter Schneider. The young student Ed (Jonathan Berlin) wants to get out, leave everything behind. He finds refuge on the Baltic Island of Hiddensee, at a time when the GDR is in its last legs.
