The Deere I-Match hitch is the most popular ‘premier’ hitch for John Deere compact tractors. It is sleek, compact and looks great on the Deere tractors. The only problem….cost. It is a VERY expensive solution compared to the other options mentioned here. There really isn’t much more to say about this hitch. Very nice option, at a steep price.

Jun 13, 2008 · Tractor. N/A. Called Woods today and was able to get a lot of info on this unit. They have not been made since 1994 but pretty much all the parts would still be available. It was called a Mast 40 and was rated at 4000 pounds lift capacity, 70 inches lift height. Weight is 630 pounds.

Feb 2, 2021 · Category 4. The most durable three-point hitch category adds another 1/2 inch or more to the link pin diameters. They come in at 1 3/4 inch (top link pin) and 2 inches (lift arm pins). When installed on tractors offering between 180 and 400 horsepower, it’s hard to conceive of a task that a Category 4 hitch can’t handle.
