Mrs Bailey is the Development Director at King Edward VI High School for Girls and King Edward’s School. A member of the Development and Alumni Relations Office since 2014, she now oversees a team that has raised over £29 million for the two schools, principally for Assisted Places, as well as state-of-the-art facilities and learning support.
King Edward’s School is situated on a beautiful 50-acre site next to the University of Birmingham, which it shares with its sister school, King Edward VI High School for Girls. Few, if any, day schools in this country enjoy such space and quality of buildings, and yet we are less than three miles from the city centre.

Founded in 1883, the School moved in 1940 to its present buildings and shares its 50-acre site with King Edward’s School (a leading boys’ independent school). There are around 660 girls from 11 to 18 years of age, all day pupils, of whom 195 are in the Sixth Form.
