Kiichiro Toyoda (Japanese: 豊田 喜一郎 ( とよだ きいちろう ), Hepburn: Toyoda Kiichirō, June 11, 1894 – March 27, 1952) was a Japanese businessman and the son of Toyoda Loom Works founder Sakichi Toyoda.

Sadly, however, the founder and former president of Toyota Motor Corporation never lived to see that dream realised. Kiichiro died suddenly from a cerebral haemorrhage in March 1952, aged 57.
Kiichiro Toyoda’s most significant legacy is the establishment of Toyota Motor Corporation and his pioneering role in modernizing Japan’s automotive industry. His vision and initiatives laid the foundation for Toyota to become a global leader in car manufacturing.
