One of the craziest opening scenes ever. I did like this film but did find some scenes to be just gratuitous like Tates jerking off scene. I think Kids and Bully are Larrys best work, with Ken Park and Another Day in Paradise being good but having something that is lacking in them.

Ken Park focuses on several teenagers and their tormented home lives. Shawn seems to be the most conventional. Tate is brimming with psychotic rage; Claude is habitually harassed by his brutish father and coddled, rather uncomfortably, by his enormously pregnant mother.
