I have compared a 2001 and my 2006 (both 500 4x4s), and the biggest difference is that the 2006 has independent rear suspension (smoother ride). Also, the 2006 has a glove box and a couple of pockets molded into the dash, and the '01 doesn't.

Jan 4, 2010 · If it were me and didn't have much choice to get out of selling it to a family member I think I would get an accurate "Blue Book" value on it with a high and low figure. Say it comes in at $7,000 for a low and $8,000 for a high. I would show the print out to Dad and tell him to make you a fair offer of what he thinks it is worth.

Check to see if you have power at the loose rectangular plug at the back of the cab on the drivers side near the ecm. The orange or orange/white wire should have key power.
