Feb 8, 2016 · Kazimieras G. Prapuolenis — or the artist formally known as Kaz — first burst onto the comic culture scene in the late 1970s through his appearances in Art Spiegelman’s RAW (along with his School of Visual Arts classmates Drew Friedman and Mark Newgarden).
Kazimieras Gediminas Prapuolenis [1] (born July 31, 1959), known professionally as Kaz, is an American cartoonist, animator, writer, storyboard artist, and illustrator. In the 1980s, after attending New York City's School of the Visual Arts, he was a frequent contributor to the comic anthologies RAW and Weirdo.

Mar 23, 2016 · Fantagraphics recently published a large collection of Kaz’s 20-plus-years-and-counting Underworld comic strip. You should buy it if you haven’t already. His sense of humor is dark and twisted and… well, really fucked up. And no other comic strip has been as consistently funny for so long.
