Katarzyna is a graduate from the Polish Film School in Lodz and alumni of the Binger Film Lab in Amsterdam. Her documentary Wasserschlacht – The Great Border Battle co-directed with Andrew Friedman was awarded Berlin Today Award during Berlinale 2007.
