Our programme caters for young skiers brand new to competitive snowsports, through to experienced athletes with national team aspirations. Those wishing to attend the camp as inliers must commit to the full duration of each block. Trainees attending either block 1 as inliers are encouraged to remain for block 2 as inliers as well. Those attending as outliers are welcome to dip in and out of our programme for a daily training / race support fee of £95pppd.
Inlier trainees will be staying with the team in a hotel with constant super vision for young athletes. Rooms will be shared with other team members and will be organised accordingly due to age, gender or with siblings. Racing. The Club organises amateur races and senior and junior race training. Members enter the annual Inferno Ski Race in Mürren and K teams race in the Amateur Inter Club Championships and SAS Pentathlon.
The langlauf comprises three laps of the snow-covered village streets on cross-country skis (skating). Finishing the langlauf entitles you to race the single-run Inferno GS on Thursday morning. Langlauf and GS results are added to your Inferno result on Saturday to give your overall Inferno Combination position.
