Kaliningrad Stadium (Russian: Стадион Калининград), known for sponsorship reasons as the Rostec Arena (Russian: Ростех Арена) since August 2023, is a football stadium on Oktyabrsky Island, Kaliningrad, Russia, which hosted four games of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. [2]
The stadium is two-tiered, with a design modelled on the Allianz Stadium in Munich. Its capacity for the World Cup was 35,000, but this is to be reduced to 25,000. It's 2 km east of city centre on Oktyabrsky Island, a long marshy island in the River Pregolya.
