Kacper Czubak Born in 1980. He is a cinematographer and film director. A graduate of the Radio and Television Faculty at Silesia University in Katowice. A holder of the scholarship of the Faculty of Film and TV at the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague. As a cinematographer he has made several documentaries in Africa and Asia.

The two most recent films that he shot as both director and cinematographer - “Hermits” and “18 kg”, won awards at the Human Doc international Film Festival in Warsaw and at the 21 DocumentART European Film Festival in Neubrandenburg. In 2013 "18kg" received Short Documentary Award at DOXA in Vancouver.
