This horrible hybrid of romance and investment scams called ‘pig butchering’ by scammers. That's because fraudsters ‘fatten up’ the victim with loving words before executing the investment part of the scam.

Jan 20, 2024 · Policy Expert were very unsympathetic and ultimately while not having to pay out for a claim, they have to refund premiums and we now have to declare a voided policy to future Insurers at additional cost. What ever happened to "Commercial Decisions" - just let us cancel it, Policy Expert keep the premiums and it costs nobody any money!

  5. Jul 25, 2024 · No issues and customer service responded to requests. There was even a phone line with great agents (some overseas, I believe). Since being rebranded as Paxos things have gone downhill. Customer service does not seem to speak English and doesn't understand anything. You get responses to emails, but they are incoherent.

  6. Jul 3, 2023 · Bosch drill kit scam emails. A scam email impersonating Bosch and Screwfix. Action Fraud has received 616 reports in a two week period of scam emails offering a free Bosch drill set. The emails include links to dodgy sites which ask you to fill in a survey and give away your personal and financial information.

For example, website domains such as www.ipadoffers.net or www.discountnikeclothes.com should raise alarm bells. You should also be cautious of domains that end in .net or .org.
