This because I did experience the sonic improvement of bi-wire connection with my previous setup. Reading the "Internet", there seems to be no consensus on sonic benefits of this change.

  5. Jul 29, 2007 · NOTHING CHANGES, period. If you do a true bi-wire with 2 sets of wires, you will have the same effect as increasing the wire gauge of a single wire. I’ve used separate cable brands/types off of the same amp (bi-wiring) and off of separate amps (bi-amping). Depends on one’s goals. I've found more room for tuning with bi-amping, with different cable types.
