Julio Macat, A.S.C. (born June 20, 1957) is an Argentine-American cinematographer. He is known for serving as cinematographer on the first three instalments of the Home Alone franchise.
Julio Macat was born in Rosario, Argentina, on June 20, 1957, and moved to Los Angeles, California in 1971, at the age of 14. Macat attended Beverly Hills High School and UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. Macat began his career at the age of 19 working as a camera technician at Filmart.
