The Maas Gallery started as revivalists for the Pre-Raphaelites, and have been champions of Victorian paintings for 55 years. We also deal in late Romantic painting and Modern British art.
Aug 31, 2023 · From 27th September - 13th October, The Maas Gallery will present a collection of new paintings and graphic works by Sarah Adams - her first major exhibition at the new gallery space in St James’s and her ninth Maas solo show in 16 years.
'The Cave’, with the Maas Gallery in 2011, was one of Knight's last depictions of the Cornish coast, painted after her move to London and depicts two young girls who have taken themselves to a secluded cove and while away the rest of the day beside the sea.
