Casting
In January 2021, Patrick Dempseyrevealed he had the script for the film and that they will hopefully start filming in the spring of that year. Filming
While the film takes place in upstate New York, it was really filmed in a village in Ireland called Enniskerry. Filming began on May 17, 2021 and concluded on July 21, 2021. Reshoots in Ireland took place in Buckinghamshire, Englandon March 28, 2022. Although the first live-action scene of Giselle and her family leaving their home was filmed on location in New York City at the same Riverside Drive apartment as the original film.
