They married on 3 April 1954 at Lothingland Register Office before moving on to London. They had a daughter, Dominique (b. 14 August 1957), before divorcing in 1958. Haines married actor Bernard Kay in October 1963. [7] Haines died of lung cancer, on 25 February 1977, aged 45. [8]
