Unfortunately my visit to Wells Beach was only a few hours. If I had it to plan again I would absolutely spend at least one night there to take it all in. It was so beautiful.

Oct 13, 2024 · This is an awesome beach that clearly highlights the natural beauty of Maine. There is parking, restroom availability, and lifeguards. Watch the tide table, as this expansive beach disappears at high tide although there is still some sand.

Beautiful 7 miles of long sandy beach, in the town they call the friendliest in Maine! Limited free parking but there are spots, otherwise pay the meters. Ocean smell can't be beat, so refreshing!

Sep 8, 2022 · From Mile Road, the beach extends a mile to the Wells Beach Jetty to the north. Parking is available at Mile Road and bathrooms and restaurants are all located close by. From June 15th-September 15th dogs are only permitted on the beach before 8am and after 6pm.
