Violinist John Helmich has been a member of the Belin Quartet since 2004. John received his Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance and his Master of Music degree in Violin Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music. While there, he was awarded the Howard Hanson Scholarship and graduated with High Distinction.

Mrs. Brittany Barry discovered her love for dancing in her first ballet & tap class at the age of three. She became serious in her training at the age of 10, focusing on classical ballet, jazz, tap, and modern, with the goals of becoming a professional dancer and someday directing her own school.
She earned her Master of Music in piano performance from the University of Kansas. She has toured with traveling Broadway shows including Mamma Mia, Billy Elliot, and Cabaret. She has played for productions at the Des Moines Playhouse and Des Moines Civic Center and with the Des Moines Symphony.
