Synopsis. A virtuous small town girl supports her mother on her salary as a soda jerk. Romantic comedy drama about three friends in New York. Cassie has come to New York and goes to work as a model where her friend Gladys works.
Three girls from Hicksville decide to sample life in New York City with varying degrees of success. Gladys Kane (Mae Clark) is a kept woman in a Park Avenue apartment, Cassie Barnes (Jean Harlow) becomes a model in a couturier store and Dot (Marie Prevost) addresses envelopes in a business office.
