Joe Richard Lansdale (born October 28, 1951) is an American writer and martial arts instructor. A prose writer in a variety of genres, including Western , horror , science fiction, mystery , and suspense, he has also written comic books and screenplays.
Joe is further known for his 'Drive-In' series: 'The Drive-In: A B Movie with Blood and Popcorn' (1988), 'The Drive-In 2: Not Just One of Them Sequels' (1989), and 'The Drive-In: The Bus Tour' (2005).
