Mar 21, 2023 · Excellent model of one of my F1 favorites, Rich - Jochen Rindt sparked the motorsport enthusiasm here in Austria. A shame that Ebbro omitted the "Gold Leaf" letters from the decal sheet (tobacco !) so I had to buy them from another source.

For instance, a 1:18 scale model means that every 1 unit of measurement on the model equals 18 units on the real item. If you divide the real item's size by 18, you'd get the size of the 1:18 model. Dec 23, 2022 · Jochen Rindt was born in 1942 in Mainz/Germany. His father was a German, his mother an Austrian. One year later his parents died during an air raid, Operation Gomorrha, in Hamburg.
May 25, 2016 · Great looking model. They had the real car on display at the Watkins Glen Library a few years back. I remember the rims were faded to a very dull silver.

Oct 17, 2020 · The Lotus Type 72C won the 1970 Constructors' Championship with Jochen Rindt wining the Drivers' Championship. Unfortunately, Rindt was awarded the Championship posthumously after having perished on September 5, 1970 during practice at Monza prior to the 1970 Italian Grand Prix.
