It takes a lot to really stand out over on Instagram these days but this image from the very brilliant Jim Pollard stopped me in my tracks. We’ve seen a fair few epic mountaintops with couples on them and I am always impressed but it’s a formula that we’ve seen many times now. However this shot takes your breath away.

As a player in the National Basketball Association (NBA), Pollard was considered one of the best forwards in the 1950s and was known for his leaping ability, earning him the nickname "The Kangaroo Kid".
Jim Pollard has been called pro basketball's first power forward. He stood 6-5, a human pogo stick gifted with a 42-inch vertical leap. It's been said he could swipe quarters off the top of the backboard and slam-dunk from the free-throw line.
