This book is worth reading but after the first few chapters is quite patchy. The author tries to cover too much ground, so the book lacks focus and some chapters only tangentially touch on the idea of groupthink. The best parts of the book for me were the references to other works which I found really useful.

Jerome Booth is a well-known economist and emerging markets expert. He has a doctorate in economics from Oxford, has been a national and international civil servant and was a founder of Ashmore Investment Management. He has been chair of Anglia Ruskin University and of UKCF, a major national charity, as well as of a number of arts organisations.
